Round 16 of the 2024 AFL season saw the North Melbourne Kangaroos take on the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium. With a final score of 77 to 60, the Bulldogs emerged victorious, continuing their strong season. The atmosphere was electric, with fans on the edge of their seats from the first bounce to the final siren. The first quarter set the tone for an intense game. Aaron Naughton got the Bulldogs off to a flying start with a goal just three minutes in. Jamarra Ugle-Hagan followed suit, and by the 11th minute, the Bulldogs had racked up 15 points without reply. The Bulldogs' defense was rock-solid, and their midfield dominated, leading to a halftime score of 38-19. The third quarter was a showcase of the Bulldogs' offensive prowess. Ugle-Hagan kicked things off with another goal, and despite a brief response from Brynn Teakle for the Kangaroos, the Bulldogs piled on the pressure.
