Engie Stadium was buzzing with excitement as the Greater Western Sydney Giants took on Port Adelaide Power in Round 14 of the 2024 season. The Giants emerged victorious with a final score of 73 to 51, much to the delight of their home fans. The atmosphere was electric, with both teams giving it their all in a contest that saw momentum swings and standout performances. The first quarter kicked off with Port Adelaide Power quickly establishing an early lead. Mitchell Georgiades opened the scoring with a goal in the very first minute, setting the tone for the Power. Despite several behinds from the Giants, including efforts from Kieren Briggs, Jesse Hogan, and Toby Greene, Port Adelaide continued to push ahead. Goals from Todd Marshall and another from Georgiades saw the Power finish the quarter with a 21-6 lead. In the second quarter, the Giants began to find their rhythm. Callum M.
