Tom Lynch, also known as "Tig" or "The Chief," is a retired Australian rules football player who has left his mark on the field. Born on September 15, 1990, Lynch began his professional career after being recruited by the St Kilda Football Club from the Sandringham Dragons Under 18 TAC Cup team with the 13th pick in the 2008 National Draft. Standing tall at 191 cm (6 ft 3 in) and weighing in at 87 kg (192 lb), Lynch played as a key forward throughout his career. He made his debut in Round 18 of the 2010 season for St Kilda against Essendon at Etihad Stadium. Lynch's journey in the AFL saw him don the jerseys of various clubs. He played for St Kilda from 2009 to 2011, Adelaide from 2012 to 2021, and finally, North Melbourne in 2022. After his stint with North Melbourne, Lynch continued his involvement in the sport by joining North Melbourne's VFL team from 2023 onwards.
