Starting at Elsternwick Primary School, he honed his skills before moving on to Pakenham Grammar and later St Kevin’s College. Not one to rest on his laurels, Jok continued to excel, playing for St Kevin's Old Boys and even tasting success with the VAFA flag. His talent caught the eye of many, including the Collingwood VFL side, where he showcased his abilities further. Jok's hard work and dedication paid off when he was selected at pick #8 in the 2019 Rookie draft, earning him a spot in the elite ranks of the AFL.
