Sam Schulz, a skilled Australian rules footballer, hails from Culcairn in the Riverina region of New South Wales. He began his football journey with the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup before catching the eye of the Greater Western Sydney Giants, who recruited him as one of their first NSW zone selections in 2010. Schulz marked his AFL debut in round 12 of the 2012 season, showcasing his talent against Richmond. Despite facing challenges and being delisted at the end of 2013, Schulz's determination and resilience shone through as he was re-drafted by the Giants in the 2014 rookie draft. Although he faced setbacks and did not play a game after his debut year, Schulz continued to push himself. However, he was eventually delisted in October 2015. Standing at 183 cm (6 ft 0 in) and weighing 79 kg (174 lb), Schulz primarily made his mark as a midfielder during his time with the Greater Western Sydney Giants from 2012 to 2015.
