Sam Lloyd, a former Australian rules footballer, showcased his exceptional skills as a midfielder and small forward during his career in the Australian Football League (AFL). Born on 3 March 1990, Lloyd made a name for himself through his remarkable goal-scoring abilities and prowess in one-on-one contests in the forward line. Having been recruited as a mature-age player in 2013, Lloyd began his AFL journey with the Richmond Football Club. His talent and dedication were evident as he went on to win the Norm Goss Memorial Medal for being the best on ground during the club's reserves grand final in the Victorian Football League (VFL) while being senior listed at Richmond in 2017. Standing at 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) and weighing 83 kg (183 lb), Lloyd's versatility allowed him to excel in both midfield and forward positions. After his successful stint at Richmond from 2014 to 2018, he continued to make an impact with the Western Bulldogs from 2019 to 2020.
