Rohan Bail - Player Bio
Rohan Bail, a former professional Australian rules footballer, made a mark in the Australian Football League (AFL) during his time with the Melbourne Football Club. Born on 26 June 1988, Bail's journey in football began with the Ferny Grove Falcons in his junior years before transitioning to the senior level with the Mount Gravatt Football Club, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport. In the 2008 AFL Draft, Bail's skills and potential were recognized as he was picked by Melbourne as the 64th overall selection from Mount Gravatt in the Queensland Australian Football League. Despite facing setbacks in the previous drafts, his perseverance and hard work paid off when he finished fourth in the 2008 Grogan Medal, a testament to his exceptional performance in the Queensland league. Bail's AFL debut in Round 19 of the 2009 season was a significant moment in his career, although unfortunately, he suffered a quadriceps muscle injury early on. Despite this setback, he continued to demonstrate his passion for the game until his departure from Melbourne at the end of the 2015 season. Following his time in the AFL, Bail continued to pursue his love for football by joining St Kevin's Old Boys in the Premier section of the VAFA in 2016. His resilience, talent, and dedication to the sport have left a lasting impression on the Australian football community, solidifying his place in the history of the game.
