Mitch Grigg, known affectionately as "The Griggmeister General Grigganator," is a former professional Australian rules footballer who made a mark in the Australian Football League (AFL) during his time with the Adelaide Football Club. Born on 2 January 1993, Grigg's journey in the AFL began when he was selected as the 41st pick in the 2011 national draft from the Norwood Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Standing at a height of 183 cm (6 ft 0 in) and weighing 99 kg (15 st 8 lb; 218 lb), Grigg showcased his skills primarily as a midfielder. His debut in the AFL came in Round 17 of the 2013 season when Adelaide faced Geelong at AAMI Stadium. Throughout his time with Adelaide from 2013 to 2016, Grigg displayed his prowess on the field, contributing significantly to the team's performance. Notably, Grigg's talent was not limited to the AFL, as he also made a name for himself by winning the prestigious Magarey Medal in both 2017 and 2018 while playing for the Norwood Football Club.
