Mitchell Banner, a former professional Australian rules footballer, showcased his talent and skills during his career at various clubs in different leagues. Born on 5 June 1990, Banner kicked off his football journey by being recruited from the TAC Cup team, the Western Jets, by the Port Adelaide Football Club in the 2008 AFL Draft. Notably, he represented Victoria Metro at the 2008 AFL Under 18 Championships, demonstrating his prowess on the field. After joining Port Adelaide, Banner impressed fans and critics alike with his performance, scoring two goals and earning the title of one of the team's best players during a pre-season debut in February 2010. Despite being delisted from Port Adelaide in 2012, Banner's passion for the sport never wavered. In 2013, he showcased his goal-scoring abilities while playing for South Fremantle in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Banner's journey led him back to Victoria in 2014, where he joined the Williamstown Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). His dedication and skills were evident as he played a crucial role in Williamstown's 2015 premiership victory over Box Hill and earned the third position in the Club's best and fairest award.
