Michael Osborne, a former Australian rules football player and coach, has left a significant mark in the world of Australian Football. Born on the 29th of July in 1982, Osborne's career has been a testament to dedication and skill. Starting his journey with the Labrador team in the QAFL, he was drafted by the Hawthorn Football Club as the 11th pick in the 2001 rookie draft. Osborne made his debut for Hawthorn in Round 21 of the 2001 season, showcasing his prowess as a forward. Standing at 178 cm (5 ft 10 in) and weighing 80 kg (176 lb), he brought agility and strength to the game. Throughout his career from 2001 to 2013, Osborne displayed a relentless work ethic and a deep understanding of the sport. In 2008, Osborne had the honor of representing Australia, a testament to his exceptional skills and contribution to the game. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into coaching, serving as a development coach with the Carlton Football Club in the AFL. His passion for nurturing talent led him to co-found The Australian Rules Football College (ARFC) with his premiership teammate Brad Sewell.
