Luke Power, known affectionately as "Finger," is a retired Australian rules footballer with an impressive career in the Australian Football League (AFL). Born on January 8, 1980, in Melbourne, Victoria, Power made a significant impact during his time playing for the Brisbane Lions and the Greater Western Sydney Giants. Starting his professional journey with the Brisbane Lions, Power showcased his versatility and skill as a utility player. He was a key member of the Lions' successful premiership-winning teams in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Throughout his time with the Lions from 1998 to 2011, Power played a total of 282 games, leaving a lasting legacy with the club. In 2012, Power transitioned to the Greater Western Sydney Giants for his final season in the AFL. Despite this being a shorter stint compared to his time at Brisbane, Power's experience and leadership were valuable assets to the team.
