Jesse Stringer, born on April 3, 1991, is a former professional Australian rules football player who showcased his skills at Geelong in the Australian Football League (AFL). Stringer's journey in the AFL began when he was selected as pick number 61 in the 2010 Rookie Draft after impressing during his time with the Port Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL. Stringer's AFL debut came in round 4 of the 2012 season, where he faced off against Richmond. Despite his promising start, Stringer's career hit a roadblock in June 2012 when he was banned for the remainder of the season due to inappropriate behavior involving a woman. This incident led to his arrest by Victoria Police following a reported assault in Grovedale. Subsequently, Stringer was released pending further investigations. Following the tumultuous events of 2012, Stringer continued to represent Geelong until the conclusion of the 2014 AFL season when he was delisted by the club. Standing at 182 cm (6 ft 0 in) and weighing 73 kg (161 lb), Stringer's time in the AFL was marked by both highs and lows, showcasing the unpredictable nature of professional sports.
