Jay Kennedy Harris, a former Australian rules footballer, made a name for himself during his playing career with the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Standing at 1.73 meters tall and weighing 75 kilograms, Kennedy Harris showcased his versatility by excelling in both the forward line and midfield positions. Beginning his journey in the top-level football early on, Kennedy Harris displayed his talent while playing for the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup as a bottom-aged player. His skills were further recognized when he represented Vic Metro in the 2013 AFL Under 18 Championships. Notably, he became the first indigenous player to captain a TAC Cup side and earned a spot in the TAC Cup team of the year. In the 2013 AFL draft, Kennedy Harris was selected by the Melbourne Football Club as the fortieth overall pick. He marked his debut in the 2014 season, where he began to make his mark on the field with his impressive performance and dedication to the game. Despite his contributions to the Melbourne Football Club, Kennedy Harris was delisted shortly after the conclusion of the 2019 AFL season.
