Jason Tutt - Player Bio
Jason Tutt, a former professional Australian rules footballer, made his mark in the Australian Football League (AFL) with both the Western Bulldogs and Carlton Football Club. Hailing from Canberra, Tutt began his journey playing junior football for Ainslie before catching the eye of the Western Bulldogs, who selected him with the 31st pick in the 2009 AFL Draft. Tutt's AFL debut in Round 22, 2011 against Port Adelaide Football Club was nothing short of spectacular, as he kicked three goals with his first three kicks, showcasing his talent and skill on the field. Over his five seasons with the Bulldogs, Tutt played 26 senior games and even secured a Victorian Football League premiership with the Footscray reserves in 2014. In a move to further his career, Tutt transitioned to the Carlton Football Club in 2015 after securing permission to train with the team in November 2014. Despite his time with Carlton being relatively short-lived, Tutt's contributions to both clubs did not go unnoticed. Off the field, Tutt's football lineage runs deep as the nephew of ACT team of the century member and former Ainslie and South Adelaide player, Alan Tutt. With his dynamic playing style and contributions to the AFL, Jason Tutt has left a lasting impression on the Australian football community.
