Jarred Moore - Player Bio
Jarred Moore, born on 6th March 1986, is a prominent figure in the Australian Football League (AFL) scene. Hailing from Langwarrin, Moore's journey to AFL stardom began with the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup, where he showcased his exceptional skills and leadership qualities. This led to his recruitment as the 31st pick in the 2004 National Draft by the Sydney Swans. Making his AFL debut in 2005 against Essendon, Moore's early years with the Swans saw him honing his craft in the reserve league before earning a spot in the senior team in 2008. It was during this season that Moore truly shone, becoming a pivotal player in the Swans' forward line with his precise kicking and goal-scoring abilities. Despite a dip in form in 2009, Moore bounced back in 2010, solidifying his place in the Swans' lineup with his strategic gameplay and improved leadership skills. However, after the 2012 season, Moore parted ways with the Swans and joined Werribee in the VFL, where he excelled and clinched back-to-back best-and-fairest awards in 2013 and 2014. Known for his midfield prowess, Moore's impact on the field extends beyond his playing days, as he now serves as an assistant coach with the North Melbourne Football Club. With a career marked by resilience, skill, and determination, Jarred Moore continues to inspire both players and fans alike in the world of Australian football.
