Jack Redpath - Player Bio
Jack Redpath, a former Australian rules footballer, made a significant impact during his time with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Born on December 13, 1990, Redpath began his football journey with the Kyneton Football Club in the Bendigo Football League before being selected as the 62nd pick in the 2012 Rookie Draft. Primarily known for his role as a full forward, Redpath showcased his skills in his preseason debut against the Collingwood Football Club in the 2013 NAB Cup. His official debut in the home and away season came in Round 16 of the 2014 AFL season against Geelong, where he continued to display his prowess on the field. During his career, Redpath also played for the Williamstown Seagulls in the Victorian Football League in 2012 and 2013, before joining the Footscray Bulldogs in the VFL in 2014. Unfortunately, his journey faced a setback when he suffered an ACL injury in July 2016, leading to him missing out on the Western Bulldogs' premiership win later that year. Despite battling consistent injury troubles, Redpath continued to persevere until his retirement at the end of the 2018 season. Standing tall at 194 cm and weighing 104 kg, he left a lasting legacy with the Western Bulldogs during his time on the field.
