Jack Henry, born on August 29, 1998, is a key player for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was selected by Geelong as their first pick and the sixteenth overall in the 2016 rookie draft. Henry's AFL debut came in a close match against Hawthorn in round two of the 2018 season at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. In his sixth game, Henry showcased his skills by amassing eighteen disposals, taking eleven marks (including five crucial intercept marks), and contributing with three tackles in a dominant victory over Greater Western Sydney in round seven. This outstanding performance earned him a nomination for the 2018 AFL Rising Star award. During the latter part of the 2018 AFL season, Henry demonstrated his versatility by moving up forward and impressively kicking eight goals in a few games while playing in the forward line.
