Fraser McInnes - Player Bio
Fraser McInnes, an Australian rules footballer, was born on July 19, 1993, in Perth. He began his football journey at Trinity College before being selected by the West Coast Eagles with the twenty-eighth pick in the 2011 national draft. Despite being drafted in 2011, McInnes had to wait until the 2015 season to make his AFL debut for West Coast. His first game in the AFL saw him showcase his skills with fifteen possessions, eight marks, and a goal against Brisbane. However, it was in round seven of the same season against Gold Coast that McInnes truly shined, recording twenty-two disposals, seven marks, and a goal. Throughout his career, McInnes displayed versatility by playing in various positions such as key forward, key backman, and ruckman. Despite facing challenges, including being delisted in 2016 and later re-drafted in 2017, McInnes never gave up on his dream of playing at the highest level. In 2019, McInnes had the honor of captaining the West Coast Eagles' reserves team in the WAFL season. However, his journey with West Coast came to an end after the 2019 season when he was once again delisted. Standing tall at 197 cm and weighing 97 kg, McInnes is remembered for his dedication, resilience, and contribution to the West Coast Eagles during his time with the club from 2012 to 2019.
