Dom Tyson, a skilled Australian rules footballer, has left a lasting impact in the Australian Football League (AFL) during his career. Standing tall at 1.86 meters and weighing 85 kilograms, Tyson's versatility as a midfielder has been evident throughout his journey in the sport. Tyson's talent was evident from a young age when he represented Victoria in the under 12 championships. Despite facing doubts about his versatility after missing out on selection in the under 16 championships, he proved his capabilities by joining the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup as a bottom-aged player. His leadership qualities shone through as he was named captain the following year. Representing Vic Metro in the 2011 AFL Under 18 Championships, Tyson's exceptional performance led to him receiving All-Australian honors. This success culminated in him being selected by the Greater Western Sydney Giants as the third pick in the 2011 AFL draft. Making his AFL debut in the 2012 season, Tyson wasted no time in showcasing his talent and was even nominated for the AFL Rising Star award. After spending two years with the Greater Western Sydney Giants, he was traded to the Melbourne Football Club during the 2013 trade period. Tyson's journey continued as he later played for North Melbourne from 2019 to 2021, contributing his skills and experience to the team.
