Hailing from Northam, Western Australia, Glass kickstarted his journey at Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) after attending Carine Senior High School. In 1999, Glass was selected by West Coast as the 11th pick in the National Draft, marking the beginning of his successful tenure with the Eagles. Known for his prowess as a full-back, Glass consistently showcased his defensive skills on the field, earning accolades such as four selections in the prestigious All-Australian team.
