Brian Lake, formerly known as Brian Harris, is a retired professional Australian rules footballer with an impressive career playing for the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Lake, born on 27th February 1982, originally showcased his talents playing for Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL before being drafted at No. 71 in the 2001 national draft. Debuting in Round 21 of the 2002 season for the Western Bulldogs against Carlton at Colonial Stadium, Lake quickly made a name for himself as a formidable full-back. Standing tall at 195 cm (6 ft 5 in) and weighing 98 kg (216 lb), his physical presence on the field contributed significantly to his success as a defender. In his career spanning from 2002 to 2012 with the Western Bulldogs and from 2013 to 2015 with Hawthorn, Brian Lake showcased exceptional skills and commitment to the game.
