Ayce Cordy, a former professional Australian rules footballer, made his mark in the Australian Football League (AFL) with the Western Bulldogs. Born on 6 August 1990, Cordy hails from a footballing family with his father, Brian Cordy, having played 124 games for the Bulldogs in the 1980s, and his brother, Zaine Cordy, currently donning the jersey for the Saints. Cordy's journey in the AFL began when the Western Bulldogs selected him with the 14th overall pick, fending off a bid from St Kilda. Over his time with the Bulldogs, Cordy showcased his skills in 27 games before parting ways with the team at the end of the 2015 season. However, his passion for the game led him to continue playing in the Victorian Football League (VFL) with Williamstown. Cordy's association with Williamstown dates back to 2009, and he rejoined them after his stint with the Bulldogs, amassing a total of 75 games and 81 goals for the club. Standing tall at 204 cm (6 ft 8 in) and weighing 99 kg (218 lb), Cordy primarily operated as a ruckman on the field. His dedication and contribution to the sport have left a lasting impact on the teams he has been a part of, making him a notable figure in Australian football history.
