Born on March 11, 1980, Grover's career took off when he was elevated from the rookie list in 1999 and made his debut in round 21 against the Sydney Swans. Known for his defensive prowess and impressive marking abilities, Grover quickly became a key player for the team. In a memorable game in round 4 of 2003, Grover was part of a historic moment for Fremantle as one of seven indigenous players to represent the club, a record number for a single AFL team at the time. In 2011, he held the distinction of being the sole veteran player on Fremantle's list. The pinnacle of Grover's career came when he played his 200th game against North Melbourne in round 22 of the 2011 season, becoming the first indigenous player and the fifth Docker to achieve this milestone. With a total of 202 games for Fremantle, Grover left a lasting legacy on the club before announcing his retirement in 2012. Standing tall at 189 cm and weighing 98 kg, Grover's impact as a defender and his contribution to Fremantle's success will be remembered by fans and teammates alike.
