Andrew Collins, born on 17 November 1988, is a skilled Australian rules football player hailing from Bridgewater. His journey in the sport began with junior football at Sandhurst in the Bendigo Football League, later progressing to TAC Cup football with the Bendigo Pioneers. In the 2006 AFL Draft, Collins was selected by the Richmond Football Club as the 73rd overall pick. He made his senior debut for the Tigers in 2009, showcasing his talent with impressive performances that included goals and disposals. Collins continued to excel, consistently featuring among Richmond's best players and maintaining an average of 20 possessions per game. After four seasons with Richmond, Collins was traded to Carlton in 2010. Despite facing a shoulder injury in his first season with the Blues, he persevered and contributed to the team. Following his delisting by Carlton in 2012, Collins joined Bridgewater in the Loddon Valley Football League as a playing coach. In 2014, Collins led Bridgewater to a premiership, highlighting his leadership skills and dedication to the sport.
