Aidyn Johnson - Player Bio
Aidyn Johnson, a skilled Australian rules footballer, was born on 31 October 1997. He began his professional career with the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) after being selected as the forty-fifth overall pick in the 2015 national draft. Johnson's debut match was a memorable one, contributing to a 90-point victory against Carlton at the Adelaide Oval during round five of the 2017 season. This achievement was all the more impressive as he was a late addition to the team, replacing the injured Hamish Hartlett. In a remarkable display of skill, Johnson managed to score a goal with his very first kick in AFL. Standing tall at 185 cm (6 ft 1 in) and weighing 81 kg (179 lb), Johnson primarily played as a forward for Port Adelaide during his time with the club from 2016 to 2019. Hailing from the Wiradjuri indigenous Australian community, Johnson's athleticism and dedication to the sport have earned him a respected place in the world of Australian football. Despite his retirement from professional play, his impact on the field continues to be remembered by fans and fellow players alike.
